Yesterday I posted a blogpost about my experience falling in love while travelling. Little that I know that people were actually reading it; they were reading and commenting. Some thinks that it’s cute that I fall in love, some asked me to man up and be strong and a lot of other comments that tickles me! But what inspired me to write this is because I also posted the story on a group that I usually look up to for travelling inspiration as well as advices and it became an amazing thread.
A lot of people shared their experiences falling in love on the road. While many share their heartbroken stories but many..when I said many, there are a lot people who ended up with each other. It was such a heart-warming conversation. I wish I can share it all here.
Here are some of the love stories from other travellers that I have the privilege to know:
At the end of the day, it is all about finding the love for yourself first. Once you learn how to love yourself ultimately, the universe will know that you are ready to love another person. Something I need to work on myself. I know I love myself but do I love myself enough?
Love is a very subjective thing isn’t it? It can last a couple of minutes to a lifetime. If you feel that he/she is the right one, even they are 8 hours train away, GO take the train and discover it. Again, you will never know if it is going to work if you never go right? I know some of you out there have taken that flight, train, buses or run to get back to the person you like.
It’s true that you cannot go out there with the mission to find love but to let it find you. If you come across one, don’t be afraid to get into one because you will never know where it will lead you. If it turned out bad and awful, you learned something at least, right? If this turned out to be your ultimate life partner, bravo!
p/s:I thought I wanted to let go by writing my previous post but I realized that I’ve gained so many from writing it down. It has helped me see love in different perspective, to just do it and never regret it. Keep on travelling and loving (eventually finding that special someone eh? 😛 )
