Yes, food is like one of the most important aspects in a trip. I’m okay with anything as long as it’s halal, am good to go. But you know mom being mom, I had to make sure that I made the right reservation for our trip.
For all you Muslim Malaysians out there, fret not, Hong Kong Disneyland has halal outlet in their park. But you can also opt for vegetarian or crustacean meals at Crystal Lotus Restaurant that is situated at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. You can take the shuttle bus from the station or from the Hollywood Hotel if you are staying there, like I did! 😉
This award-winning restaurant offers outstanding cuisine from four major culinary regions of China: Sichuan, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. Specially created Disney Dim Sum is available too! We had a really hearty Pumpkin soup with Tofu, Braised vegetable and mushroom, fried rice and DUFFY SHAPED DESSERT!!! Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *kawaii*!
I found that in the park, there is actually a halal-certified called the Tahitian. But having a little sister who likes fast food, plus the fries were really good, we ate at (can you help with the name) in Tomorrowland.
We had each a set of Fish Burger with Fries and drinks. The burger was delish! Simple, warm bun with deep fried fish fillet, very satisfying! 😀
On the 2nd day I was there, I booked for us to have breakfast at Enchanted Garden with the Disney characters! I kept it a secret from my little sister, fun to see her shocking fast! It was a nice buffet breakfast and the best part was definitely meeting the Disney characters that close!
Even in the park, you can have some really nice popcorn (I bought some home!), ice- cream and Mickey shaped waffle! I am missing all the food at Hong Kong Disneyland! ><
It was all a great experience at Hong Kong Disneyland. I would definitely recommend it , be it for children or even adult like me! Live your childhood once again and relive it with more memories that I’m sure will leave you in Awe for ever! 😀
Till then, keep on travelling peeps! 😀
