Being a traveller, I know exactly how important it it to know where I can charge my gadget while I am waiting for my flight or on a long transit in an airport. For those looking for plug point in KLIA, look no more! I have found the places in KLIA that has plug points /power outlets. Now you can find place in KLIA to charge laptops and phones at Kuala Lumpur airport!
Before you go through the immigration to get to your flight, you can find plug points/ power outlets in the departure area of KLIA. If you go to Secret Recipe, most of their tables are accompanied with plug point/power outlets for you to use to charge your electronics. You will be required to purchase a cake or a drink – the cake is pretty awesome, you should get one of those! 🙂
The next food outlet that actually offers plug point/ power outlet in KLIA is Old Town White House Kopitiam. Again, you will be required to purchase any beverages or food to be able to use them. At this outlet, I suggest that you try their wide variety of coffee and plug point away charging your electronics! You can charge all your laptop and phones at KLIA now!
KLIA or Kuala Lumpur International Airport offers free Wi-Fi to all their customers but you can only use them for 2 hours on one device. I tried log in and log out after the two hours period (which includes shutting down and restarting my phone) but it somehow never works.
Alright, on to the next place with plug point in KLIA, if you go towards the end of the airport, you will see KFC and behind the KFC there should be a Muslim Prayer area, just outside the Muslim Prayer room, there should be a plug point in KLIA.
Sources told me that KFC also have a few plug points too, just go check it out before you purchase anything, okay? I hope this will help a bit for those looking for plug point in KLIA so that you don’t have to go wondering around looking for one! Have a safe flight and enjoy your trip! 😀
p/s: Malaysia uses 3 pin-plugs just like the one in the UK with 240V. So you might wanna bring an international converter!
